Why is the Sky Blue?
Blue? Why blue? Well in some places in the world its dark grey, but we hope you or your loved ones are not there!
Firstly, the colour that we see all around us are not inherent in the objects themselves but rather the colour it reflects. For example, an apple absorbs a bunch of light/colour and reflects the colour red into the light receptors in our eyes.
So with that in mind, what is the sky reflecting??? Yes! You guessed it, the air is blue! Here is a video to explain in detail why the sky is blue, the colour spectrum, and how our eyes work.
