How Typhoons Form
Typhoons can be very scary, especially if you are in a part of the world where the infrastructure doesn't hold up well to it's beating. All the rain, wind, thunder might frighten the young ones, so better explain to them whats happening! FYI, Typhoon and Hurricane are the same kind of storm, named differently based on the region in which they are formed. Typhoons are tropical storms in the region of the Indian or western Pacific Oceans. Here is a video to watch with your kid!
